Our Team

Helen joined The Heath Family in September 2020 and is currently Assistant Director of Education (SEND, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion).  Helen provides strategic leadership and quality assurance across SEND, English as an Additional Language (EAL), Emotionally Based School Non-Attendance (EBSNA), and Alternative Provision.

Helen began her teaching career in primary education and has been a senior leader in four primary schools, including Deputy Headteacher and Head of School roles, before moving into senior leadership in secondary education. In addition to leading inclusion and SEND within a high school, Helen achieved distinctions in Masters-level qualifications including NASENCO and Specialist Teacher (SpLD). She has extensive experience of driving school improvement across both primary and secondary phases and has received national recognition, including ‘Student Teacher of the Year’ and ‘SENCO of the Year’.

Helen is also a governor of two schools and an Ofsted Inspector, bringing a strong system-wide perspective to her work across the Trust.
